President and Mrs. Barrack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, R&B Hall of Famers Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, and a host of top political and civil rights personalities all turned out to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King today in Washington, D.C. at the formal dedication of the MLK Memorial.

In comments spiritual, celebratory, and often political, many speakers at today’s dedication drew parallels between the civil rights movement of Dr. King in the 1960s and the Occupy Wall Street protests that are spontaneously springing up all across the United States and around the globe today.
