Indian Poetry in English Festival: Send Us Your Verse

We would like to tell all Free Pamphlet community members about our upcoming poetry festival. We are seeking submissions from all poets across the world.

Poets from all over India are going to participate in the Second National Poetry Fest 2009. We are hosting this ‘Fest’ to promote ‘Indian Poetry in English’. This Second Poetry Fest is dedicated to all Indian Poets.

We are doing it on our own without any sponsorship. Your active participation will kindle our hope to bring Indian thought and sensibility to light. We cordially request you to send Two of your unpublished poems to us on or before 10th April, 2009. We will publish the poems in a book entitled “A Posy of Poesy”. You have to present the poems to the distinguished audience on the day of the Fest.

Dear Poets, please go through the instructions and follow them strictly and cooperate with us in making this Fest a grand success:

You can send poems on any topic.
The poem should not exceed 20 lines.
The lines should not be lengthy.
The font should be in 12 and in Times New Roman.
The poems should be unpublished one.
You have to give an undertaking that the poems are original and written by you.
Send your black& white stamp size photo along with your poems.
Send your poems & photo as an attachment file in MS Word Document.
Send your brief bio-data, awards&achievements of National / International reputation
A panel of judges will shortlist the poems for presentation and publication.
Selected poems will be published in the book entitled “ A Posy of Poesy”.
The book will be released on 2nd July, 2009.
